Voters in this far northwest suburban district face a general election do-over from 2024, with incumbent Democratic state Rep. Suzanne Ness facing Republican Laurie Parman, 71.
Ness has held this seat since 2021. We are not enamored of her support for a graduated income tax. A strong fiscal conservative would have a good chance in this district. Unfortunately, Parman continues to strike us as too extreme, especially on matters of immigration.
