A teenage boy was shot to death Wednesday night at a Loop skate park, according to the Chicago Police Department and police sources.
Police said the 16-year-old was found just after 9 p.m. in Grant Park on the 1100 block of South Michigan Avenue with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital and pronounced dead soon afterward, police said.
The boy’s identity wasn’t publicly available as of Thursday morning. The Cook County medical examiner’s office was set to conduct an autopsy Thursday.

No one was in custody for the shooting Thursday morning, police said. Belmont Area detectives were investigating.
