Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

How quickly five years can fly by in the world of gaming, paired with iconic headlining entertainment and fine dining, all in homage to the music celebrating many eras.

Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana has big weekend plans to mark its fifth anniversary this week.

Still ranked as Northwest Indiana’s No.1 entertainment destination, the entertainment, gaming and dining complex opened off Burr Street on May 14, 2021. From the latest math as of March 2026, Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana has been the leading casino in Indiana for 53 consecutive months.

To celebrate, Hard Rock has promotions, new memorabilia and great live music in the spotlight this weekend.

On the subject of math, here are the incredible numbers reported by Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana to frame this weekend’s many reasons to toast the occasion:

•Total of visitors recorded over the past five years: Over 11.5 million

•Total dollar amount of jackpots over the past five years: 411,057 jackpots totaling $1,044,820,373.00

•Total tax revenue generated by HRCNI over the past five years: $665.5 million

•Total number of jobs created over the past five years: 1,317

•Total amount in charitable donations over the past five years: Over $9.4 million

•Total number of hamburgers sold: 53,818 Legendary Burgers sold

•Total number of concerts on Hard Rock stages: 1,275, including 235 ticketed shows on Hard Rock Live’s main stage

•Top-selling item in Rock Shop: HR Northern Indiana Hurricane Cocktail Glass, with total number sold topping 8,754

Among this week’s anniversary promotions at the Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, there is a special fifth anniversary commemorative pin available for purchase for $18 in the Rock Shop, as well as a spectacular confectionery sculpture on display in the Constant Grind coffeeshop.

Gamers will enjoy month-long earnings towards a Porsche Cayenne drawing in the newly expanded High Limit Slot Room.

One of my favorite parts of this anniversary celebration is all of the new memorabilia on display throughout the gaming and dining areas, with more than 50 new pieces of musical history, much of it in the main lobby area.

Highlights from the new collection include three special selections: a gold brocade jacket worn by Axl Rose of Guns and Roses; a maroon Fender Jazz Bass signed on the pickguard by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz; and a red Yamaha BB300 electric bass signed in black marker by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, inscribed “Played at the very 1st Pumpkins show July 9th, 1988.”

These new additions will remain on permanent display in the space outside of the Hard Rock Live concert venue and can only be seen by concert attendees.

This weekend’s celebration kicks off at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, May 14, with a concert by deathcore band Lorna Shore, with tickets starting at $69.65. On Friday at 7 p.m., it’s Broadway star Stephanie Mills and Shalamar with tickets starting at $65. Later that night, it’s Marcy Playground on the free Hard Rock Café Stage at 9 p.m. Saturday, it’s Gucci Mane with the Masterclass Tour at 7 p.m., with tickets starting at $117.19.
