Calling all “Portlandia” fans to Steppenwolf Theatre: Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are bringing their tour of “A Visit From Portlandia with Fred and Carrie” to Chicago for two performances later this month in Steppenwolf’s smaller 1700 Theater.
The show is described as an evening of storytelling, jokes and conversation. “Portlandia” was a comedy series starring Armisen and Brownstein set in and around Portland, Oregon, that ran on IFC from 2011 to 2018.
