Chicago police are investigating an overnight hit and run that injured a 22-year-old woman in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
About 1:30 a.m. Saturday, a white SUV was headed north in the 8100 block of South Halsted Street when it struck a woman attempting to cross, police said. The SUV continued and did not stop.
The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she was listed in fair condition with injuries to a shoulder and lacerations to the body.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
