Ovidio Guzmán López, son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, pleaded guilty in federal court in Chicago on Friday to drug trafficking charges.
Guzman Lopez pleaded guilty as part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors. He’s the first El Chapo relative to strike a deal with U.S. authorities and agreed to cooperate with any ongoing investigations.
