The 10 commandments of 2022

1. Campaign finance reform is badly needed: So that the false god of money won’t keep the governmental system from making the best decisions for our people.

2. We need positive action against climate change: Our vanity as a society is making it very dangerous for future generations.

3. Voting rights are sacred: Every person should be entitled to express their feelings in the electoral process.

4. See something, say something: Community members need to step up to assist police in curbing crime and violence.

5. Stricter gun safety laws are needed: More extensive background checks, national red flag laws and a national ban on all assault weapons are huge deterrents.

6. Women have the right to choose: We are well past the “Handmaid’s Tale” society.

7. Train, no defund, the police: We don’t want to steal from our protective layer in our society.

8. Teach truth and justice: Everyone deserves to hear the truth, not conspiracy theories.

9. Every person deserves proper nutrition, health care and education: Our society is stronger if it is a fair one.

10. Redo our tax structure: Everyone should pay his or her fair share.
