Calls ring hollow
Did you ever read the back of a shampoo bottle? Lather, rinse, repeat. Mass shooting rhetoric. No action. Lather, rinse repeat. Every Republican politician lives in fear of the most radical members of their party, and their insane belief that common citizens should own weapons of war without question. They fear the NRA and the loss of political donations. Their calls for thoughts and prayers ring hollow, and their tears are of a crocodile. They are all cowards. Mass shooting rhetoric. No action. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Crazy left
Come on people, comedians are going to have to forget and find a new career. People are just oversensitive. No one can laugh anymore without the crazy left making a point and brainwashing the public about what’s wrong with comedy. Look up the definition. We should be able to laugh about each other, and enjoy each other at the same time.
Take responsibility
Once again, the Democrats cannot take responsibility. They are now criticizing the police for all the violence that’s going on, when the Democrats are the ones that are so set against defending the police.
New word
Illegitimate is the new word Democrats are using for when they don’t get their way. Some nutbag Democrat is yelling that because the Republicans stacked the court with conservatives, the court is now illegitimate. Although the way that it came about was totally legitimate and, if it was a Democrat under the same circumstances, they would have done the same thing. But don’t worry about that, because you’re just a racist, bigot, white supremacist, deplorable. Oh, yeah, and that also means only that you don’t agree with Democrats.
Taken away and destroyed
I just want to know how many people have to die, especially young kids in schools. Nobody in their right mind should have an AR-15 except police or the Army. I’m sorry. Anybody out there that has one should have it taken away and destroyed. This is what’s wrong with our country. We have no control over the gun laws. In Illinois, at least you have to have a FOID card to even get a gun. I’m not saying we’re perfect by any means, but there should be background checks. This kid was 18 and buying an AR-15. That should have stopped the gun guy from selling it to him.
No more bonuses
Waukegan Public Schools keep spending money on bonuses for administrators in a failing system. Clean up your buildings, reach out to the parents so they can get your kids to school safely and fed. Quit spending money on bonuses. Quit throwing money out the door and put it where it needs to be.
Shut up

We’ve got Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi ripping Republicans to try to take guns away from moral responsible gun owners, but they’ve done nothing against criminals and they’ve all been in Congress and the Senate since Moby Dick was a minnow. They should just shut up, because they don’t know what they’re talking about.
Alternate funding sources
Vote no for Warren Township High School’s referendum. Warren has received COVID money many, many times in the last few years, and then recently from the federal government and from Gov. Pritzker. Buses were not running for a long time. That saves on oil, gas, tires and repairs. The kitchen was closed for many years. Staff and bus drivers also were on unemployment. They saved on electricity water and heating. Warren always run on a surplus. This has been proven many times before.
Your life may depend on it
Republican leaders are anxious to ban all abortions, claiming to save the unborn child’s life. Yet, every week there’s a mass shooting in America. Republicans, what about the lives of Americans grocery shopping, worshipping, attending and teaching in schools, and riding the subway? These people deserve to live also. Stop focusing on taking women’s rights away, and shift your focus to protecting living Americans. Stop refusing to take the action required to keep Americans safe from these mass shootings, while cozying up to the NRA and gun lobbyists. Stop being cowards, and address this problem. Shame on each of you for allowing this carnage to continue. To the voters, you can make a difference. Don’t base your vote solely on false and misleading TV ads. Stop the confusion, and do your homework. Make sure the candidates represent your views. Your life might depend on it.
Problem solved?
Fox News blames the killings in Texas on everything but guns. They blame parents and schools for not securing children from gun violence. Maybe they’re right. We need more guns in schools. Let’s give all children from first grade up their own gun. We can’t give them to kindergartners, they’re too young. Now when some armed psycho invades the next school, and we know it will be soon, the kids can shoot back. Problem solved. Pass sensible gun legislation.
Just in case
People have smoke detectors and fire extinguishers and hope they never need them. I have those and guns, and would rather need the smoke detector and extinguisher before I need my guns, but I will keep them all just in case.
Dishonest actions
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton stated, “Laws don’t work,” after the Uvalde school shooting. This is a man whose job it is to enforce the law. He might know what he’s talking about since he is under investigation for security fraud, bribery and abuse of office. He has been sued by the Texas bar for dishonest actions trying to overturn Joe Biden’s election win in 2020. Of course, he just won his Texas Republican primary.
