Not a racist?
A recent contributor tells us that Trump is not a racist. Let’s examine the facts. Trump, while announcing his candidacy, labeled Mexicans as drug addicts, and reenacted a travel ban against Muslim countries because they’re all terrorists. A Florida judge ruled unfavorable against him because the judge was Hispanic. Trump also lamented that we don’t have more immigrants from Nordic countries, and called African nations s-hole countries. And worst of all, he labeled white supremacists as many fine people. It astonishes me what alternate universe that you people exist in. I believe his racism and xenophobia are the primary reasons you worship him.

How many more used car lots and repair shops in Waukegan do we need? We have more cars than people in Waukegan. Mayor, I don’t see anything good that you’re doing with the city of Waukegan.
Another failure
Shouldn’t Waukegan high schools set an example of cleanliness and pride in the city of Waukegan? Then why in the world would you cut grass and leave your cut grass clippings behind? Do you have employees that no longer want to do a good job? They used to do a nice job. So why are you not questioning them, or doing inspections at all the schools, to make sure everything is being prim and proper? Another system has failed the city of Waukegan.
Stop blaming each other
Right after the horrific shooting in Texas, the whole event became political. Democrats are blaming Republicans. Republicans are blaming Democrats, instead of blaming each other. Why can’t we just work together and come up with a remedy to keep our children safe, and keep everybody safe? Stop blaming each other and start working together. It’s so sad. I’m sorry.
Want to volunteer?
Stop criticizing police officers, and targeting police officers for not doing their job. You have no idea what’s going on in certain situations, but you have your cop-haters to start instigating cop-hatred. That’s a problem for me, a big problem. So what happened in Texas? Yeah, they may have taken a little long for people’s liking, but be careful unless you want to volunteer to be a police officer.
God help us all
Can you believe these Republicans? They value life so much that they would reverse Roe v. Wade. They love children, but God forbid taking away the AR-15s to kill them. We do not need stricter laws. We need to outlaw AR-15s, whose only purpose is to kill. We would not have mass shootings if they banned AR-15s. I’m sorry to say it, but current Republicans love money more than lives. Now, their very dangerous, mentally handicapped ex-president is talking to his cult about Civil War. God help us all.
Vote smart
Are you happy? Are you really happy with the way our politics are going? Are you happy with your representatives? Come on, folks forget the division lines for being Democrat and Republican. People need to start thinking about what we want for this country, and smart people need to vote smart.
No one is for mass shootings
This is in response to the “head-scratcher” entry: Let’s call a moron a moron. They said you’re against abortion, but you’re for mass shootings. You sir are stupid — 63 million abortions for babies. They had no choice and no voice compared to your straw man argument, which is garbage thrown against the wall. Newsflash. You miss the entire wall. No one — I repeat for your brain deadness — no one is for mass shootings.
A good start
What color is God’s skin? Is it black? Is it brown? Is it yellow? Is it white? It is all the same in the good Lord’s light. So, our strength is in our unity, not our division or diversity. It would be productive to stop trying to divide and, instead, start trying to unify. Respect each other and stop judging people on how they look would be a good start.
Too much money to be made
Very horrible to constantly hear of these senseless killings at an enormous rate. I myself think a lot of this is caused by the violent videos that our young children and teenagers play. They reach a certain point where the satisfaction of the game fades, and they reach out to go and do the real thing. These videos and Hollywood do not care about all the violence they promote. Too much money to be made. Stop your children and grandchildren from focusing and playing these violent games for their entertainment. There are better ways to entertain yourselves.
