Disrespectful to our military
Giants baseball team manager Gabe Kaplan stated that he won’t take the baseball field for the national anthem because he doesn’t like the direction of our country. I don’t like the direction either, especially with the latest shootings, but not being there for the national anthem is disrespectful to our military personnel and all veterans. It’s to honor those who lost their lives fighting for the freedom we take for granted, the freedom that Gabe Kaplan has to play baseball in the first place. Did he ever join the military? I doubt that. He’s another prima donna athlete that makes big bucks and doesn’t give back, yet complains.
Deserve to lose
So the Republicans want to run somebody to beat Pritzker, and you guys come up with Irvin. That’s the best you can do? That guy is the best you can do? You people deserve to lose.
Maybe you’ll see the light
Folks in Lake County: Are you really, really happy with the way things are going in Lake County? Look what’s going on in Waukegan. We need better candidates; better representative in the state of Illinois. Look at Chicago, folks. You really happy about what’s going on in Chicago? That’s why a lot of people moved out of Chicago. Think about it. This is a Democratic-run state, and it’s the one of the worst states. It has beaten California. All we need are the California homeless and then maybe you’ll see the light.
Not enough cops
These people are protesting about guns. But, if they take our guns away, we’re done for. You’ve got no way of protecting yourself. There’s not enough police to go around. Just drive down the street, there’s not enough of them.

Democratic President Joe Biden is the worst president we have ever had, and that’s just talking about his good points.
Uniform gun laws
This is in regards to our government. They need to quit giving money to every other country when our country is in need. We need to do something about the gun laws in the schools protecting those kids. I mean, we have the technology to make it so that nobody should be able to get into a school with any kind of weapon — whether it be cameras, or infrared, or whatever. The laws of the United States should be uniform across the country, not individual states making gun laws. This is totally ridiculous.
Where will money go?
It is said if the Warren tax referendum does not pass, the students will lose sports and classroom periods. Nobody has said anything about the administration or teachers losing anything. Is that because they will be getting a big raise in their wages and increase in their retirement fund, which comes from real estate taxes, if the tax referendum is passed? Another real estate increase is just what we need, along with the increase in the cost of food and gasoline.
Cowards
Restrict which legal Americans can vote. Fail to pass gun control on which people can carry guns to kill. Ban abortion at conception, but no gun control to stop people with guns from killing our children. Tell Americans to solve gun violence by paying for armed guards in protected gear at schools, grocery stores, retail stores, restaurants, etc., to control mass shootings. Tell teachers to wear Kevlar vests as part of their daily attire. What should our children wear? Fail to support access to mental health and social services. The Republican agenda is all about the right to own a gun to kill, support the NRA to get elected and to support white supremacy. Cowards.
