There’s a new player in the Naperville breakfast game.
Buttermilk, which already has a dedicated following with its first location in downtown Geneva, opened its second location in Naperville’s Freedom Commons Thursday.
With menu items including stuffed banana bourbon french toast, an Alabama hot chicken Benedict and hand-crafted espresso drinks, Buttermilk aims to “elevate traditional breakfast fare” in an “urban barn atmosphere,” according to its website.
Buttermilk offers also serves cocktails, including mimosas, Bellinis and bloody Marys, and beer and wine.
The restaurant at 1715 Freedom Drive also has a separate gluten-free and vegan menu, and a kids menu.
