Back in February of this year, ice cream makers Ben & Jerry’s apparently began churning out a new product line called Pint Slices, novelty treats that are essentially like a Klondike bar, only with Ben & Jerry’s flavors stuffed inside a chocolate shell.

(Not everyone can be trusted in the ice cream aisle, so some of us missed this news at the time.)
Anyway, for unaware ice cream eaters, Ben & Jerry’s is getting the word out about their new product on its promotional Pint Slice Tour, which arrives in Chicago this weekend and will offer free treats at a pair of upcoming events.
This weekend, you can grab a slice from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (or while supplies last) Saturday and Sunday at Northalsted Market Days in Boystown, along North Halsted between Belmont and Addison. Make note: The warm weather also gives you an excuse for scarfing your slice.
And, next week, the ice cream will pop up from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Adler Planetarium (1300 S. Lake Shore Dr.) for its monthly Adler After Dark event, so you can enjoy a slice while you take in some stars.
If you’re only worried about the ice cream but can’t make the events, don’t worry—the pint slices are available in grocery stores.
