Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The summer in Chicago is creeping closer, which means so is one of our city’s best warm-weather events: the Sunday Backyard BBQ series at Sportsman’s Club.

Starting this Sunday, May 28, and continuing every Sunday throughout the summer, the series invites a different restaurant to the Sportsman’s patio each week to grill and chill. This year’s lineup includes many notable Chicago spots: El Che Bar, Publican, Smyth/The Loyalist, Quiote and Entente, to name a few.

Sportsman’s outdoor space offers an ideal setup for grilling out — just head through the narrow bar to find a large backyard set up with tables and string lights. Though, the food is the real attraction here, and it comes at a decent price: $20 for a plate of food and beer. Doors open every Sunday at 4 p.m.

Make your plans with this summer’s complete grilling schedule:
