A Bolingbrook woman is facing robbery charges for allegedly playing a part in the hold-up of an Aurora liquor store last year, police said.
Wynter K. Lopez, 36, was charged with single counts of aggravated robbery and robbery and was arrested on Monday at her home.
According to charging documents, Lopez allegedly went into the store in the 2200 block of Ogden Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on June 23, 2014, and made a purchase using her LINK card.
During the transaction, police said Lopez was captured on video peering over the 49-year-old male clerk’s counter and into the cash register as change was being made.

Within moments of Lopez leaving the store, police said an unknown man entered the store and robbed the business at gunpoint. Police said that based on evidence they received, Lopez and the man appeared to have been working in tandem.
Surveillance video allegedly showed Lopez and the gunman walking up to the store together. Lopez can been seen entering the store, making a purchase and then leaving, police said. On her way out, she allegedly walks past the gunman who is wearing a hooded sweatshirt and bandanna, police said.
Police said that following the robbery, the gunman and Lopez can allegedly be seen running back toward a nearby apartment complex together.
While the man has not been caught, investigators were able to zero in on Lopez because she made the purchase with a LINK card which police were able to trace. She was subsequently charged.
The store clerk was not injured during the incident.
Police are pursuing leads into the identity of the man who robbed the store and are continuing their investigation. Anyone with information should call Aurora police investigators at 630-256-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
