Aurora police are continuing their search for three men who held-up a cell phone store Friday evening.

The armed robbery occurred around 8:05 p.m. at a business in the 2300 block of North Farnsworth Avenue.

According to Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli, two employees — a 33-year-old woman and 22-year-old man — were alone in the store when two armed men approached them.

The employees were taken into a back room where a third suspect appeared.

Ferrelli said the men were able to get a key from the employees that unlocked a room where new cell phones were stored. Once inside, the robbers took dozens of phones, Ferrelli said. The men also made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from one of the store’s registers.

Police said the total amount lost is $33,205.

The suspects were all described as black men. The two who originally entered the store are 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8.

The shorter suspect was between 18 and 23 years old. He had long black hair, a tattoo in the left center of his cheek, and studded earrings. He was wearing a white shirt, dark pants and a beige floppy hat.

The taller suspect was in his early 20s, Ferrelli said. He wore a black T-shirt, light-colored jeans and black hat.

The third suspect, who the victims encountered in the back of the store, was also in his early 20s. He was 6 feet tall with short black hair and wore a beige shirt with blue stripes and blue jeans.

Ferrelli said all three suspects ran away from the store after the robbery.
