Police said their contact with Kamil Pach, 19, 300 block of Barnaby Drive, began around 10 a.m. Saturday after a multiple-vehicle, chain-reaction crash near Route 34 and Mason Square Drive.
Pach was taken into custody and charged after Oswego police said he fled the scene. He was charged with leaving the scene of a crash, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by a minor. He was located at his home after officers were led there by a witness, according to police.
He was released on a personal recognizance bond and allowed to go home, police said.
Later that evening, around 7:40 p.m., Oswego police were called to Pach’s Barnaby Drive address for a report of someone with a knife. When officers arrived, they learned Pach did not have a knife, but that he had allegedly sent a threatening text message to someone.
Police charged Pach with harassment and violation of his bail bond. He was taken into custody and again let go on a personal recognizance bond.
Around 11:05 p.m., officers were to Pach’s home for a second time. This time, Pach was arrested on two counts of domestic battery, criminal damage to property and violation of his bail bond. He was taken into custody and transferred to the Kendall County Jail, police said.
