Frank Clair was a big reason Leo won the Class A title, scoring 25 points in Saturday’s 65-57 win over Winnebago (after scoring 17 in the semifinal win over Quincy Notre Dame). The reason the 6-foot-6-inch forward went to Leo is he enjoys going to church. “I’m really into church– my whole family is, with my uncle Coleman Martin a pastor and my mom (Frances Brown) a youth minister. I passed Leo every Sunday on the way to church and started thinking it would be a good place to go since it was close to my church.”
