Question: What makes ABC’s “Final Jeopardy” (7 p.m. Monday, WLS-Ch. 7) more interesting than the mystery itself?

The pair create a nice give-and-take chemistry as a New York assistant district attorney and the NYPD homicide cop assigned to guard her body.
Not that the mystery is too shabby: Alexandra Cooper (Delany), an ADA who handles sex crimes, comes home from a business trip to TV reports that her “body” had been found riddled with bullet holes at her Martha’s Vineyard retreat. Homicide cop Mike Chapman (Burke) bird-dogs Cooper, whom he calls “Coop” against her wishes, to investigate.
The answer isn’t so cut and dried in the film directed with a little too much visual flash by Nick Gomez. But it’s more fun watching Chapman and Coop do their they-like-each-other/they-don’t-like-each-other dance.
Sounds like the premise for a beautiful TV series.
