Friday is closing day for the spendid show on behalf of Amadeo de Souza Cardoso, a Portuguese Futurist who exhibited in the famous 1913 Armory Show and sold works to two prominent Chicagoans. The exhibition at the Arts Club of Chicago, 201 E. Ontario St., is the first retrospective for the artist in the United States and contains some of the most remarkable little-known works in the history of early modern painting. It’s a marvelous rediscovery. Until 6 p.m. today.
