The World Series prompted a slight shake-up in the Chicago Bulls’ first week of the 2026-27 regular season.

Next Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks will tip off at 3 p.m. rather than 7 p.m. at Fiserv Forum. The move allows the city to accommodate Game 1 of the World Series, which the Brewers will host at American Family Field at 7 p.m.

“The Brewers’ return to the World Series for the first time in 44 years is a special moment for Milwaukee and sports fans across Wisconsin,” the Bucks said in a press release. “Congratulations to the Brewers and the entire organization on this tremendous achievement, and we’ll be cheering them on as they begin their World Series run. The Bucks are proud to move our home opener in recognition of this historic occasion and thank the NBA for making this schedule change possible.”

The Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Conference Series to advance to their first World Series since 1982. Milwaukee has never won a World Series, one of five teams in MLB that haven’t.

Next Friday’s game will be the second of the season for both the Bucks and the Bulls.

The Bulls tip off the regular season

on the road against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, while the Bucks also open on the road against the Washington Wizards.
