Police continue to investigate a Friday shooting near Ingleside that left a man dead and another in custody.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the victim as 30-year-old Joshua Strong of Ingleside. An autopsy showed that Strong died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said it was called a little after 3 a.m. Friday to the 25900 block of West Laneville Drive for a report of a shooting.

After arriving, officers found an armed man outside the residence and took him into custody.
They then removed numerous people who were inside the residence before discovering Strong, who was dead.
The armed person remains in custody. Deputy Chief Christopher Covelli said Monday that detectives continue to work through the evidence and the statements of people who were there at the time of the shooting.
