A 26-year-old man was fatally wounded Monday night on the South Side in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of someone shot in the 7400 block of South Morgan Street and found an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder.

The victim was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead.
