ARMED ROBBERY: An employee at Jewel-Osco, 7910 Cicero Ave., reported an individual displayed a knife Sept. 19 while exiting the store with several bottles of unpurchased liquor, police said.
Evergreen Park
FELONY THEFT: A delivered package containing a $1,200 cellphone was reported taken Sept. 6 from a porch in the 9600 block of Kedzie Avenue.
PUBLIC INDECENCY: Kent Temple, 62, Chicago was arrested Sept. 9 and subsequently charged with public indecency in the 9200 block of Kedzie Avenue after fully exposing himself to sidewalk and street passersby while urinating on a tree, police said.
Frankfort
GUN POSSESSION: Jacob L. Coffey, 22, 8100 block of West Orchard Drive, Frankfort, was arrested early Sept. 24 and subsequently charged with possessing a firearm with a revoked gun permit and aggravated unlawful possession of a loaded weapon in a vehicle without a concealed carry license after officers recovered a 9 mm pistol, a magazine containing 12 full metal jacket bullets and 2.5 suspected amphetamine pills at Willow Lane and Cherry Street, police said.

UNLICENSED TRUCKERS: Nine drivers for long-haul trucking companies were charged with driving without a commercial driver’s license after officers stopped them for carrying overweight loads between Aug. 26 and Sept. 30, police said. The drivers were from Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Texas and Wheeling, police said.
New Lenox
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Brian A. Sundstrom, 38, Bourbonnais, was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 8, charged with aggravated battery, according to Will County records online. Sundstrom was arrested Sept. 5 in the Village Commons after slapping an officer investigating a disturbance at the public library, police said.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Sean L. Saffold, 29, Chicago, was scheduled to appear in Will County court Oct. 7, charged with aggravated battery/public place and resisting arrest, according to court records online. The charges stem from a Sept. 14 call to a restaurant in the 300 block of West Maple Street, where Saffold tensed his body and pulled his arms away from officers investigating a disturbance, police said.
SLOTS BURGLARY: Five individuals wearing dark clothing and masks and wielding crowbars and a sledgehammer early Oct. 6 broke through the glass front door at Hog Wild restaurant, 1300 N. Cedar Road, damaged four video slot machines and removed two cash boxes, police said.
Oak Lawn
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Todd C. Johnson, 52, 7100 block of 95th Street, Oak Lawn, was arrested Aug. 30 and subsequently charged with three counts of aggravated battery after grappling with officers at the police station, police said.
AGGRAVATED SPEEDING: Marco A. Garcia, 23, Cicero, was arrested Aug. 31 in the 9600 block of Kostner Avenue and subsequently charged with aggravated speeding/35+ mph after driving 66 mph in a 30 mph zone, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: A Chicago man with 14 prior convictions for driving on a revoked license was charged Sept. 4 with felony driving on a revoked license following a stop in the 4400 block of Southwest Highway, police said. Bernard Ivy, 46, Chicago, was also cited for two counts of failing to signal, expired registration and failing to provide proof of insurance, police said.
Orland Park
GUN POSSESSION: Shadi T. Abuawad, 29, 11600 block of Glenview Drive, near Orland Park, was arrested Aug. 25 and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of ammunition after officers recovered a loaded revolver, dozens of .38 caliber bullets in two ammunition boxes, five loose .38 caliber bullets and two loaded magazines in the 9200 block of 159th Street, and determined he lacked a gun permit, police said.
DUI CRASH: John A. Bills, 65, 14800 block of Greenview Road, Orland Park, was arrested Aug. 27 during a one-vehicle crash investigation at 135th Street and LaGrange Road and subsequently charged with drunken driving, police said.
FRAUD: Angel Espinosa, 24, 8000 block of Norwood Drive, Frankfort, was arrested Aug. 31 at Orland Square mall and subsequently charged with unlawful use of a credit card after he attempted to use other people’s debit cards to purchase items at a luxury accessories store, police said. Officers recovered seven cards belonging to four people, police said.
Palos Heights
AGGRAVATED DUI: Jose A. Temoxtle-Quihua, 28, 10700 block of Natchez Avenue, Worth, was arrested Sept. 26 and subsequently charged with aggravated drunken driving, illegally transporting alcohol and no proof of insurance after he was found passed out in a parking lot aisle in the 12200 block of Harlem Avenue, police said.
Park Forest
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Lashawntate N. Macon, 34, 100 block of Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, is scheduled to appear in Will County court Oct. 8, charged with aggravated battery/great bodily harm, according to court records online. Macon was arrested Sept. 26 after police said he stabbed a neighbor during an argument.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY: James E. Burks, 75, 23400 block of Western Avenue, Park Forest, was arrested Sept. 8 in that block and subsequently charged with aggravated domestic battery/strangulation, according to police and Will County court records online.
Posen
ARMED ROBBERY: Three armed males robbed Thornton’s gas station, 14840 Western Ave., Oct. 1, police said. No one was injured, but the store was temporarily closed while detectives processed evidence, police said.
South Holland
CRASH SHOOTING: Forrest McHerron, 53, Chicago Heights, is charged with two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm and one count of aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with a Sept. 17 crash on Interstate 94 southbound at 159th Street, Illinois State Police said. McHerron fire shots while driving away from the crash, was hit by a bullet fired by another motorist and stopped by Hammond, Indiana, police, state police said.
Steger
FRAUD CALL: A resident reported Sept. 17 that $3,900 had been stolen in a series of fraudulent bank withdrawals after the resident provided account information to a caller posing as a bank employee.
BAR BRAWL: One of 12 people fighting Sept. 18 in the Glass Tap parking lot, 3327 Chicago Road, declined treatment for a hand injury after Steger and Crete officers dispersed the crowd, police said. Steger officers returned later to disperse six people fighting in the parking lot, police said.
University Park
BURGLARY CHARGES: Mickeal J. Bonadona, 22, 800 block of White Oak Lane, University Park, and Jalen M. Jones, 22, 800 block of Greenbriar Lane, University Park, were scheduled to appear in Will County court Oct. 7, charged with burglary, according to court records online. The two smashed the front window of the Tornado convenience store, 515 University Parkway, and took tobacco products during a villagewide power outage, police said.
