Authorities are investigating a triple shooting early Sunday morning in Chicago’s Irving Park neighborhood.

According to the Chicago Police Department, three men were standing outside in the 2900 block of West Irving Park Road at about 2:47 a.m. when an unknown female offender fired shots at them from a distance.

All three male victims — ages 31, 37 and 38 — sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to area hospitals, according to police.

The 37-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he’s in critical condition.

The 31-year-old man was shot in the right calf and taken to St. Francis Hospital in fair condition.

The 38-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was also taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he is in fair condition.

Police said there are no further details at this time and Area Five detectives are investigating.
