7. Kaneland 1-1 (7): Addison Coulter is hitting .444 to lead the offense for Knights, who lost 6-5 in 10 innings to Yorkville and beat Serena 6-4.

8. Waubonsie Valley 3-2 (9): Sophomore pitcher Molly Quinn rolls along with 15 strikeouts in 5-0 win over Bolingbrook and 13 strikeouts in 4-3 win over Bartlett.

9. Oswego 2-5 (1): Adalynn Fugitt and Jaelynn Anthony combine on three-hitter as Panthers open St. Louis trip with 3-0 win over Columbia.

10. Newark 2-3 (NR): Adelaide Johnson notches four hits with a triple as Norseman capitalize on five unearned runs to edge Genoa-Kingston 8-7.
