A woman, her infant daughter and a 6-year-old son were pulled from the water near South Side beaches Saturday and pronounced dead, according to Chicago police, who said the deaths appeared related to a “domestic dispute.”

Police said the baby was recovered from Lake Michigan in the 5700 block of South Lake Shore Drive just before 11:30 a.m.

Later in the afternoon, around 2:30 p.m., a 6-year-old boy and a 31-year-old woman were removed from the water near 63rd Street.

A man fishing near the Museum of Science and Industry saw one of the children, wearing a pink jacket and blue jeans, in the lake and called authorities, according to a police report obtained by the Tribune. The woman was the mother of the two children, the report said.

Detectives are investigating, police said.
