Actor Jamie Foxx was spotted swinging a driver Saturday night at Topgolf, the first time he’s been seen in public since being hospitalized for a mystery “health complication” in the spring.

TMZ first reported the public sighting, which was later confirmed by People magazine.

The online gossip site obtained video of Foxx recorded about 11 p.m. Saturday at the Naperville golf venue off Route 59 north of Interstate 88. The business declined to comment.

Foxx, 55, is seen trying out several drivers and checking his score.

A source told People that Foxx “was in good spirits and having a good time,” looked “healthy” and didn’t require “any physical assistance.”

Foxx’s party included about 10 people who shared two bays roped off on the third floor, the person told PEOPLE, adding his friends seemed protective of him throughout the night.

He reportedly left a $100 tip on the $200 bill, the magazine said.

TMZ also has video from Sunday afternoon showing Foxx waving from a mega-boat cruising on the Chicago River. He was seen waving to a passing vessel, which gave him a cheer.

The star’s family members have been visiting him as he continues to rehabilitate in Chicago.

Foxx was hospitalized for several weeks after suffering a medical issue while in Georgia filming a movie for Netflix.

The reason for Foxx’s sudden hospitalization has not been released. In April, his daughter posted a message on Instagram that she her father had “experienced a medical complication. … Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”

Earlier this month, word began to spread that Foxx was on the mend.

John Boyega, Foxx’s co-star in “They Cloned Tyrone,” told E! Canada that the actor was doing fine.

“Yeah. He’s all good. He’s all good,” Boyega said. “So we’re just going to wait for him to reappear when he wants to. You know, privacy and all.”
