DUI
Elvira Mejia-Cabrera, 53, of the first block of Crestview Terrace, was charged June 11 with driving under the influence of alcohol, battery, assault and resisting a peace officer following an incident in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road in Wheeling. Mejia-Cabrera is scheduled to appear in court July 14 in Rolling Meadows.
Moving violations
Dominique Mccoy, 50, of the 4700 block of West Gladys Avenue, Chicago, was charged June 6 with driving on a suspended driver’s license and disobeying a stop sign following an incident near Armstrong Drive and Horatio Boulevard. Mccoy is scheduled to appear in court July 21 in Mundelein.

Theft
There was a report June 6 that theft from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property occurred June 5 in the 900 block of West Lake Cook Road.
There was a report June 12 that retail theft occurred June 11 in the first block of McHenry Road.
There was a report June 12 that theft occurred June 11 in the 1500 block of East Deerfield Parkway.
Burglary
There was a report June 10 of burglary of a motor vehicle in the 400 block of West Half Day Road.
