Little Village furniture falls on boy death

Police are investigating after the death of a 3-year-old boy Tuesday in the city’s Little Village neighborhood.

Police were called to the 2800 block of South Pulaski Road shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday, where they found a piece of furniture fell onto Johan Garcia, 3, Chicago police said.

A death investigation was underway, police said, but a representative for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services was not immediately available.
