Acting like a leader: Trump stated “Putin would not ever have gone into Ukraine if he were president.” Truth be told, Trump would have given Ukraine as gift to Russia and NATO would continue to be in disarray from Trump’s lack of caring. Biden stepped forward and realized how the loss of NATO would threaten the European alliance to defend against Russia’s aggression. Through his leadership, NATO is much stronger and Finland and Switzerland are now seeking membership.
Fentanyl worse than guns: There are countless Speak Outs comments about assault rifles but the left completely ignores what fentanyl is doing to our youth every day. More than 300 Americans die daily! That number is equal to an airliner crashing every day, yet this president and many of his followers have blinders on and couldn’t care less. Maybe when one of their loved ones die they’ll get involved but I won’t hold my breath.
Where’s Fox’s apology? Now that the Fox News all-stars (Rupert, Tucker, Sean and Laura) have admitted under oath that they’ve repeatedly lied to the American public, I think a public apology is in order before their lifetime ban from cable television.
Learn some respect: Nikki Haley needs to learn to respect elders. I’m 75 years old and find her offensively guilty of ageism. Sen. Mitch McConnell says no to everything as often as a 2-year-old having tantrums. Haley’s party doesn’t trust the moral integrity of women, and she should be aware of the venerable adage if you lie down with dogs you wake up with fleas.
Hope you’re happy: The 67th mass shooting in the U.S. happened Feb. 14. Happy Valentine’s Day. Keep on selling those guns, you gun manufacturers, and keep on promoting it, NRA and right-wing militia/Second Amendment people. That Second Amendment was written hundreds of years ago and has nothing to do with what’s going on today. Disgusting.
Out of touch: There have been more than 60 mass shootings in this country since Jan. 1. So what are the Republicans worried about? Library books? A laptop? Disney World? Art work? Kindergarten teachers? Woke this or that? They are so out of touch.
