RESISTING ARREST
Cameron D. Carlson of Northbrook was charged with resisting a peace officer, driving while license suspended and failure to wear a seat belt Feb. 15. Police observed Carlson not wearing a seat belt and stopped him in the 2800 block of Dundee Road. Carlson disobeyed a command to stay in his vehicle, got out and fled on foot. He was eventually stopped by the officer. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court March 7 in Skokie.
INVALID LICENSE
Vito Danny D’Amore of Highland Park was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of open cannabis in a vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol Feb. 13. Police with knowledge that D’Amore’s license was revoked observed D’Amore driving a vehicle and stopped him near the intersection of Willow and Sunset Ridge roads. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court March 27 in Skokie
BURGLARY
A Northbrook resident in the 1300 block of Edgewood Lane reported being notified the alarm in the resident’s home went off Feb. 15. The resident was not at home. When police arrived, they found a broken basement window and a ransacked bedroom. Nothing was reported missing.
A person reported an unknown individual or individuals smashed out the driver’s side window of the person’s vehicle while it was parked in the 900 block of Skokie Blvd. Feb. 14. A backpack was taken.
The manager of a business in the 700 block of Skokie Blvd. reported an unknown individual or individuals entered the business using keys Feb. 15, disabled the alarm and stole $800 from the safe.
THEFT
A Northbrook resident in the 1100 block of Cayuga Drive reported an unknown individual or individuals stole a cellular telephone from their porch after it was delivered Feb. 15.
A person reported an unknown individual or individuals stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in the 1500 block of Skokie Blvd. Feb. 14.
A person reported an unknown individual or individuals broke into their locker at a local fitness center in the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road and stole two credit cards Feb. 14.
