La Grange
Criminal defacement
At 3:31 a.m. Nov. 18, patrol officers noticed a vehicle on the 100 block of South Sawyer Avenue that spray paint on the driver’s side.
Traffic violations
Juan Alcantar, 33, of the 6300 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 6:17 a.m. Nov. 18 at La Grange Road and Cossitt Avenue with driving with a suspended license, driving with suspended registration, and speeding.
La Grange Park
The La Grange Police Department is investigating an incident at the Village Church, 1150 Meadowcrest Road. Sometime between the hours of 6 p.m. Nov. 22 and 2 p.m. Nov. 23, someone gained entry to the church by throwing a landscaping brick through a window on the Northeast confer of the building.
Additionally, the Department is investigating two suspicious incidents at the church within the last two weeks. One prior to church service and the other involving a door left unsecured after hours. Nothing was taken and the investigation is ongoing.
