Riverwoods
POSSESSION OF STOLEN VEHICLE
Cassiopia L. Stewart, 34, of the 4500 block of Opal Drive in Schaumburg, was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and speeding Oct. 21. She was stopped near the intersection of Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was transported to the Lake County jail for a bond hearing. She is next scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Nov. 9 in Waukegan.
DUI
Jovanka Garcia, 34, of the 37200 block of North Grandwood Drive in Gurnee, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding Oct. 23. She was stopped near the intersection of Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Oct. 22 in Waukegan.
INVALID LICENSE
Erik Esparza-Velazquez, 36, of the 0-100 block of North Lewis Avenue in Waukegan, was charged with driving with a revoked license and driving with a suspended registration, as well as apprehended on an outstanding warrant from Lake County and two from Cook County Oct. 20. He was stopped near the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Deerfield Road. He was released on bond for the traffic violations and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Dec. 7 in Mundelein. He was transported to the Lake County jail to await a bond hearing on the warrants.
