Many are adversely affected by economic, environmental, societal and educational upheavals. Who will best address those issues? I have listened with growing chagrin to the political ads that focus on abortion at the neglect of other pressing issues. Abortion laws should be considered, but they are not the only thing, nor in my eyes should they be the priority issue. I will vote for candidates who have a solid plan to deal with all of today’s issues. A Democrat, a woman, but not a single-issue voter.

Most political ads are endorsing abortion, killing babies. Why not support adoption or contraception instead?

This November, I see we have a choice. We can have a governor who’s going to support the criminals with his SAFE-T Act, where armed robbers, second degree murderers carjackers and home Invaders would be allowed with no bail and ankle monitoring and they can be missing for 48 hours. Or we can have a governor who’s going to fight crime, put order back in this state and city of Chicago. To me, it’s not a hard decision who to vote for.

This is for many of our right-wing Speak Out contributors. They were so outraged at having to pay for student debt forgiveness because they didn’t go to college. Well, an article in the Southtown reported the USDA is going to have debt relief for farmers of $1.3 billion. I say, hey, I’m not a farmer, why should I pay. Same thing isn’t it? Or are they buying votes as some of our some contributors said about buying votes with student debt forgiveness?

I would like one who screams my body, my choice to comment on the proposed CDC recommendation that school children be COVID-19 vaccinated or not be allowed in school. Particularly since science says children are least at risk, least likely to contract or spread COVID-19.

Stacey Abrams, Vice President Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton all said Abrams should have won that election in Georgia because of voter suppression. Here are some facts that the Democrats don’t want you to know. They had record turnout in that election and as of now, before the midterm elections, they already have record turnout for early voting. So where is all this suppression coming from?
