I think the Democrats should thank Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Because of his decision on the abortion question, I believe the Democrats will not only hold the House, but they’re going to take the Senate plus the governor’s state elections. I think the Democrats are going to have a strong hold on his country for years to come, and the Republicans should ponder this.

Have you noticed that the only thing the Democrats can do is attack the Republicans on this abortion issue, whereas the Republicans want to tackle the high prices, the inflation, high gas prices, high drug prices, high grocery prices and crime. Yes, abortion is important issue, but that can be worked out. I think all these other issues are what we have to worry about.

My grocery store has a few shopping carts that look like vehicles. That way, kids can be amused during shopping trips. On the one shaped like a police car, someone wrote “no protection, never” in black marker. I wish this vandal would hear what I hear on my police scanner. Last month, my neighbor’s relative called the cops because her husband came home drunk and hit her. Today when I had lunch, there was a call that a woman stole her ex-boyfriend’s dogs when he was at work. It goes on and on.

Everybody must love President Donald J Trump. They just can’t stop talking about him or putting the limelight on him. good for Trump.

Whenever I travel and someone asks me where I’m from, I always said Chicago. No more. I don’t want to be associated with this crime ridden city and obscene sports teams. The Cubs maybe five years, the White Sox maybe 10 years and the Bears maybe not for anyone reading this in their lifetime.

I was not impressed with Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey’s continuous interruptions. He started from the very beginning and it was really hard to glean any substantive information to make an unbiased choice. Unfortunately, over the years I have seen other candidates like Bailey who don’t have anything to contribute so they disrupt the process. Chicago is my hometown and I don’t believe that Bailey can govern without being biased.
