God save us
I’m very concerned about no cash bail starting Jan. 1, which Gov. Pritzker signed into law. In other states, such as New York and California, it’s been a disaster. Basically, it’s just going to empty our jails of really bad criminals. God save us.
The best we’ve got
This is a comment about “Heart of Illinois.” You know, maybe Pritzker ain’t the best, but he’s the best of all that we’ve got running. Bailey’s a total idiot. I wouldn’t vote for him if he was running for dogcatcher. And the rest of them are worthless. Pritzker did good during the COVID. I”m not saying he’s the greatest, but he’s the best we’ve got.
Come on
I see in the paper that this man gets 65 years in prison for shooting a father of five, and so for 65 years the taxpayers have got to pay $70,000 a year for him to be in a prison. Why not give him the death penalty? He killed a person. Why should the taxpayers’ money be paying for these killers? Anybody that’s killed a person without reason should be given the death penalty. It would save the taxpayers millions and millions of dollars. And hopefully, it would make an example to people not to get crazy. He did it under road rage. Come on.

Saddest day in America
I am very disgusted by the Democrats. On Sept. 11, they turn speeches about 9/11 into a political speech, calling Republicans terrorists. How dare they say such awful things on the saddest day in America. They have no respect for those that were lost, or their survivors, or the families who lost loved ones. I’m disgusted in what the Democratic Party has become.
Take care of your city
I just drove down to the lake where the hot dog stand and ice cream store are. I drive down Belvidere, and the bridge and the road to get down to the lake are terrible. There’s so many potholes there. You’ve redone Grand Avenue, but you forgot about Belvidere, and many people take their boats down Belvidere. Please fix our roads. There’s a lot of roads in Waukegan that are pretty lousy. Take care of your city, please.
They ran the deficit up
America, I do not want to hear any Republicans at all ever say anything about the deficit after they stole a trillion and half dollars five years ago. They ran the deficit up. I do not want to hear them say anything about the deficit. They are not going to say a word about it, because they ran it up. If it was good enough for them, it’s good enough for us.
