People who are angry with President Joe Biden’s decision to partially relieve the college loan debt of many of our fellow American citizens should keep in mind that no one is being fully and completely relieved of their college debt. Relieving $10,000 or $20,000 of debt only gives people some breathing room. Taking some of the crushing load of this debt off the people who are carrying it is for the good of all of us because it allows them to participate more fully in the economy. Carrying such huge debt at a young age means that you cannot save and invest for your eventual future retirement home. You have to put off getting married, and when you get married you have to put off having children. And put off buying a house. The most important way for most people to build wealth is to buy a house. If you can’t do that in your lifetime, or you have to put it off until you are in your 40s. You will reach retirement age in a very diminished Financial condition. This is not good for any of us or for the nation.

I love and lived in Chicago all my long life. If Ted Slowik loved Chicago and weren’t a Democratic lemming, he’d have to admit that Darren Bailey’s “Hellhole” assessment of Chicago is fact. We can all see the problem but Democrats can only floss over reality. They Deny facts, Reject reality, Avert accusations against them, Blame something or someone else or Scare people into believing/voting for them. They’re the “DRABS” Party.

JK from Tinley Park, horrible floods and devastating weather events have been part of climate history as far back as it’s been recorded. Climate change was all a major league hoax. It’s a scheme. How about Al Gore preaching that the world was going to end how many years ago, but it didn’t? And who uses up massive amounts of energy on his estate? And Al Gore is another one flying all over on his private jet, but it’s OK because he’s got a schedule to keep it he’s important. I really get a kick out of all the hotshots that fly into these climate summits each on their own no concern for the environment. Here’s an idea. Why doesn’t somebody ask for an accounting of the massive amounts of money that is being funneled into these climate change and climate control projects? Maybe that’s why some of these proposals were being blocked.
