I have lived in Palos Hills for over 20 years and I just want to comment on a problem. There is a growing problem with the dumpsters off the Green Tree condos and Scenic tree apartment complex on 84th Avenue. They often overflow with garbage, and currently there’s one in particular that’s very bad, overflowing with carpeting, furniture, piles of wood. And this has been for over a month. I’m hoping that Mayor Bennett and his public works department can work on this. It’s getting very bad, and we’re going to have a problem with rats and raccoons and things like that. Also, the service road to access this is full of potholes. There must be 40 potholes. This can be accessed from 84th Avenue and this problem is in Palos Hills at the apartment and condominium complex.

Voters, come November watch who you cast your ballot for. Democrats are trying to buy your votes: free gas by Willie, cutting sales tax by JP; and the best rip off of all to all Americans — paying off student loans, not for all but a select few. Watch what’s happening after November. Be aware of this country going to hell in a handbasket by the Democrats. I am an independent voter but even I can see the writing on the wall.

Rumble on the South Side. The White Sox recent slide is a Real McCoy. They have no spark, energy or winning attitude. Injuries are part of the game. You have to adjust, which they can’t do.A recent dropped fly ball, which should have been caught for the win started the downfall. Empty seats are in the future. Get rid of Tony and the whole coaching staff.

Yes, this is in reply to Jack of Oak Forest. The world is begging to increase oil and natural gas???. The world is begging to have it addressed with climate change. But, again, a generation passes it off to your eight-year-old grandson so he can figure out how to stop it or at least slow it down. To all the naysayers out there, it’s not global warming. It’s climate change, and you see it in the news every day. Go solar thank you.

Yeah, this is for Paul from Tinley. I’d like to ask you something, wasn’t there proof that Pritzker took out the toilet so he didn’t have to pay taxes on it? Just check with the state of Illinois. I do present some actual proof of the crime. You get your facts straight buddy.

President Biden decided to use taxpayer money to pay off student loans in an election year. Funny I thought Congress handled the taxpayers purse strings. Not just doling out money to get votes for his Democratic Party. I can’t wait to see what happens in two years. What kind of freebies is he going to be handing out using taxpayer funds? I believe Joe’s time is about over hopefully in two years maybe sooner. Thank you.
