Why nonpartisan elections?
Waukegan politics is a gas. Our city council wants nonpartisan elections. Why is this? Alderman Turner is obviously holding for Republican votes next time, having lost his primary to an old woman. Alderman Moisio (a Democrat) claims to have never been concerned with politics, which explains his voting record. They claim to want transparency, yet voted against a City Manager (oops we might get caught). Come on, tell us another one. I need a good laugh.
Good riddance to never Trumpers
I would like to say good riddance to Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and all the other never Trumpers in the Republican Party that are being shown the door. All were useful idiots for the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi. They cared more about fawning media coverage on MSNBC and CNN. They are the typical RINO’s. Well, how did that work for ya? Cheney cannot get elected dogcatcher in Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger’s reward was his district was redrawn and gerrymandered by Democrats so he would not have a chance of winning, so of course he is not even going to run. Coward.
Waukegan Township has wonderful lawn program
Kudos to the Waukegan Township. Mark Jones has done a wonderful job with the lawn program. His crews do a great job.
Democrat/sheeple
This is in response to the obvious Democrat/sheeple satisfied with allowing this current administration to run their lives, literally into the ground and yet still voting blindly for the party (accurately earning the name “sheeple”). Lemmings do not commit mass suicide by following each other off a cliff. That is a myth or a misconception. You need to do a lot more research in governmental history, ancient history, the constitution, and rodents. Speaking of rodents, breaking down the word “Democrat” you will see a popular rodent genus … funny isn’t it!

Talk of the County: Thank you to Charles Selle that was a wonderful article about the Republicans and Democrats and how Lake County has evolved. Yes, Lake County was known as a Republican County and now it is a Democrat. But what happened. We had such great leaders. These people cared about Waukegan and they did a lot. They didn’t argue. Some were Republicans. Some were Democrats. They worked for Waukegan. They worked for Zion. They worked for North Chicago, for Lake County. Why can’t things get done here? What happened to good leaders that were acceptable to all people? Thank you. Thank you.
