After the previous year of 7% inflation and this year already over 8%, Janet Yellen finally admitted she was wrong when she said the risk of inflation would be small, manageable and transitory. President Biden said the costs of food and gas will not be under control any time soon. Neither will say that far too much money was sent for way too long to state governments and too many people, many who never lost their jobs, and it was either socked away or spent recklessly instead of being used for immediate needs, the way it was intended.

I just read where Calumet City is on the hook for $4 million because a criminal, while riding in a stolen vehicle after robbing a store, crashed into another vehicle eluding police and now he’s paralyzed. So the police have to pay him for his crimes. This is what is wrong with the world these days. The criminal is now the victim in society’s eyes. The criminal could do no wrong. This is unbelievable.

So Jamie Dimon of Chase Bank thinks the economy is in for a disaster. He is part of the cause. Financial and oil company CEOs have all the power and get their boards to pay them more than 200 times the median wage. Savings used to be the basis of economic security for ordinary people, but now it’s just stupid and enables banks to steal from customers. Financial services forces everyone to gamble in the stock market now in trouble.

I opened the paper to police blotter, 18 suspended license driver’s on the road. I think I should be afraid to go on a road with all the people that don’t belong there.

According to the Chicago Police Department, 60% of the guns recovered in Chicago were purchased out of state. Why then would the offenders come to Chicago rather than to any other city in the U.S. Is it because Chicago is a criminal paradise? If it is, and it sure looks like it, then why?
