Bent out of shape
So Elon Musk just bought Twitter. It’s kind of amazing how lefty liberals are all bent out of shape over it. Elon Musk wants to promote free speech, get rid of censorship and eliminate fake accounts. I can therefore logically assume lefty liberals are anti-free speech and pro-censorship with all their outrage. Truth be told, your average Democrat would be more at home in Communist China than they would here in America. Democrats in America do not like to debate. They want to shut down anybody that disagrees with their point of view. Freedom of speech is a threat to them.
So realistic
With all the technology in moviemaking — think “Forest Gump” with Nixon, “Avatar,” “Gravity,” even old movies like “The Ten Commandments” with Charleston Heston — everything looks so realistic. So why are they using live rounds of ammunition that actually kill people? For realism? Nonsense.
Hold on to your purses
The voting time has not yet arrived, but the money is being handed out already. The Waukegan School District has given the superintendent a $20,000 raise already. Hold on to your purses and wallets because they will want more than that on the ballot. And don’t forget that the taxpayers pay for the pension of all educators. Don’t forget that they earn a wage, and we pay for their retirement pension. Why? Nobody pays for my retirement expect me out of my own meager wages.
Drag racers and off-roading thugs
Constant and pervasive high-speed drag racing on Delany Road is endangering the lives of law-abiding motorists. A large pack of all-terrain and off-road trucking males with disregard for the law, the driving public and anyone or anything that gets in their way, are routinely roaring down the Union Pacific and Com Ed right of way on York House Road, the Lake County Savanna Forest Preserve property and brazenly driving straight down York House and Delany roads like they own the roads. Apparently, these days they do. Meanwhile, Lake County and Waukegan cops snooze undisturbed in the dog park parking lot. Lake County has all sorts of traffic cameras in the area, but can’t seem to catch any drag racers or the gang of off-roading thugs
