Can’t make this stuff up

It turns out that Trump was correct when he alleged election fraud. His chief of staff Mark Meadows was registered to vote in two different states. One of the residences he claimed was a trailer in the mountains of North Carolina. The owner of the trailer didn’t think Meadows had ever been there. Meadows himself has claimed there was election fraud in 2020. He would know. You can’t make this stuff up.

You are a failure

To the person calling people “failures”: You should thank God that you evidently have been given a life where you can do well, and lack of money is no problem for you. Not everyone is given the same opportunities in life. You are a failure for not having compassion on those not as well off as you. As you grow older, your circumstances can change and you will not be as well off as you are now.

Clueless

The Associated Press reported inflation had risen to a 40-year high last year, wiping out many pay raises consumers had received. Well, who didn’t see that coming? Gov. Pritzker for one. When he nearly doubled the minimum wage three years ago without even debating the issue or holding a vote, I knew the consequences were right around the corner. I’m a local businessman who watches his costs and raises prices only when I have to. Unlike the governor, who never had to worry where the money to pay his bills was going to come from, those of us in business have to either watch our expenses or go out of business. Did Pritzker really think that we were just going to absorb the costs and not pass them along to our customers? The guy is clueless.

Kudos

As a previous school bus driver of 13 years in Antioch, I give praise to the bus driver in our neighborhood. We live around the corner from Little Fort School and this bus driver is spot on every single morning as far as his timing. He drives by at 6:38 every morning, give or take one minute. People don’t know this, but perfect timing is a must for bus drivers. We don’t want to be too early and miss a rider, or too late and have a child waiting in the weather too long. Kudos to the Elmwood Avenue driver. Hope they pay you well.

Pinocchio puppet

Not only do we have a lying Pinocchio puppet president who can’t speak without a teleprompter, he doesn’t know anything about what he’s reading because it’s obvious he isn’t the one writing his own speeches. And, I know of some safe and secure property for sale along the Texas-Mexico border with a nice open view of the Rio Grande for anyone that believes he actually spends his days between naps, ice cream breaks or his weekend vacations in Delaware being productive and making your way of living better today than it was a year ago.

Look at the bright side

This is in response to the geographically impaired commenter who accused North Chicago of getting rid of the Forest Preserve. The Forest Preserve is owned and maintained by the county. The county comes into North Chicago and does what they want. Look at the stupid roundabout, for example. They rape the land at will. Look at the bright side. The wildlife, that lived in the Forest Preserve will now be in neighboring backyards. This will allow hunters to hunt from their back porches.
