Naperville has more options for dining, shopping and therapy coming soon, including a new Schlotzsky’s Deli, which is under construction near Route 59 and 95th Street.
Schlotzsky’s spokeswoman Madison Stevens said the restaurant will open in the spring or early summer.
Known for its deli sandwiches, pizzas, soups and salads, this store will be among those that also sell Cinnabon baked goods, Stevens said. According to signage, it will also have a drive-thru lane.

The restaurant chain started in Austin, Texas, in 1971. According to its website, more than half of its 300-plus locations are in Lone Star State.
Stevens said “this is very exciting growth and expansion for the brand and a new community they look forward to meeting.”
Schlotzsky’s Deli and Cinnabon are part of Focus Brands, which also owns Moe’s Southwest Grill, McAlister’s Deli, Auntie Anne’s and Jamba.

Pedego Electric Bikes
Pedego Electric Bikes is opening a store on 87th Street on April 7.
The company has more than 200 locations globally, but all are locally owned, according to co-owner Bill Budicin, who lives in Lisle and is part owner of the Pedego shop in Wheaton, which opened last year.
The Naperville store at 513 W. 87th St. will sell trail, commuter, entry-level and high-end e-bikes, which Budicin said have been growing in popularity.
E-bikes can be pedaled or switched to partial- or full-power using an electric motor. Budicin said e-bikes promote a healthier, active lifestyle but also provide the backup of a motor for the benefit of some riders, especially those 55 or older.
“It’s created an opportunity for people who have not been able to ride for a long time,” said Budicin, who owns the store with his wife, Karen, and Jeff and Andie Alvis.
Pedego Naperville, which is close to the Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve and the DuPage River trail, will provide bike rentals for rent and e-bike repair services.
“We’re really close to those two (attractions). Some people may like to try (e-bikes) out and rent them,” Budicin said.

Dash of Nash
A women’s clothing boutique shop called Dash of Nash, formerly known as Havana, is opening on the first floor of 32 W. Chicago Ave.
The Downtown Naperville website lists the store as “coming soon.” It will be filling the location that had been home to Andrew’s Garden, which closed earlier this year.
“A women’s clothing boutique with a trendy twist! Their goal is to create a unique shopping experience … bringing a dash of Nashville to Naperville!” posts on Downtown Naperville’s social media pages this week said.
The store’s owner also posted news about the news business.
“This is surreal … I have waited for this moment for the past five years and I couldn’t be more excited to announce the forever home for Dash of Nash! From starting online out of my parents’ basement five years ago, to my first space on the second floor, then to our pop-up shop to now my very own first floor store!”
