Change the channel
The general public of the United States needs to boycott Colbert. That talk show host is disgusting. Come on, folks. You’re allowing this man who has nothing else but to talk about Trump. Trump had nothing to do with this. Absolutely nothing. But these talk shows have nothing else to talk about. You’ve got a war going on, and yet you’re talking about the wrong people.
Empty promises
Where has Biden been? All the topics he has revealed during the State of the Union address have been in existence during his first year in office, but he has done nothing about them. He hibernated, sequestering in his basement in Delaware. He acts like he is a Santa Claus making empty promises.
Be more positive
As a new subscriber to Lake County News-Sun, I am sorely disappointed with the preponderance of derisive, negative opinions published in the Talk of the County section of your newspaper. Please at least establish a balance of positive comments regarding the measurable progress the United States is currently making in critical areas that build and unify our great country.

Disposable troops
Putin doesn’t really care about winning Ukraine. Russian troops are starving. They are disposable. Troops are only necessary to provoke America to get involved, thus justifying Putin to respond by aiming weapons of mass destruction at the USA Stupidity on Putin’s part could annihilate the world as we know it.
Keep our troops out
There is good in the face of evil. I truly believe that. However, watching everything that’s coming through different websites, television, social media, the whole works, who’s to know what’s true and what’s not? I do believe that our country, the United States, is plugged in to what’s going on in Ukraine. However, I don’t believe that our soldiers should be put in the line of fire.
She’s a joke
I was watching the State of the Union address and I don’t know what Nancy Pelosi is smoking, or what she is popping, because she looks strung out. Her facial expressions are unreal, and she’s up and down, up and down, clapping like a seal. She’s a joke.
