You can tell that elections are coming up, as large groups of politicians are coming to our area to tell us how great they are at spending our hard-earned tax dollars. The projects now proposed for cleaning up Lake Michigan, and particularly in Waukegan, should have been done some 50 years ago.
It’s time to quit
Well, I see our illustrious billionaire Gov. Pritzker didn’t get his way, so he’s crying his way to the Illinois Supreme Court. I hope they tell this clown it’s time to quit. Anybody who votes for him has got to really be sick.
Do you homework
Waukegan School District 60 needs to more thoroughly investigate the backgrounds of people before they hire them, and particularly people for administrative positions and those that have worked in the Chicago school system. That has been a big problem for about six years now in the Waukegan schools.
How about thinking about America?
Today, the TOTC reported the avocado dilemma. We like avocados, but if Mexico cannot control the safety of our workers, then guess what? Time to try another fruit producer. I hope it hurts them in their pocketbook. Perhaps that will help with our border crisis. There’s not a day that goes by that some Illegal here commits a crime, or we catch one at the border. Now they are threatening our people that are helping them. When will this country wake up? To those that support them, well how about thinking about America? But maybe that’s not where your allegiance is, or your Illegal.
Freedom matters
A response to “Laws or chaos.” The sheep contributor at no time suggested or implied we could drive anyway we wanted to without traffic lights, stop signs, or speed limits, or 60 mph in a school zone. This rebuttal was a distraction so we don’t notice the attempted micromanagement of our lives in every respect by nanny big government and the resulting fines. Freedom matters.
Go for it
No more masks, because our leaders and protesters don’t want them anymore. Do you really think the COVID virus has gone, and we are all safe again? Do you think the little children holding protest signs made by their parents have driven away the virus? Go for it protesters, and hope you don’t get sick.
Running two years late?
It’s freezing February. When will the coughing, runny noses, fevers and calling in sick with a cold or the flu start? Isn’t it running like two years late? Could it be because we’ve been wearing masks?
