Bat-snot crazy
I guess with Democrats, they don’t understand the word hypocrisy. They complained about President Trump all the time and his mean tweets, when every American indicator — the economy, our strength, the GDP, the stock market, everything — was on the upswing when Trump was in office. The Democrats don’t like Trump because he points out their hypocrisy and sticks it right in their face, and they can’t stand that because Democrats use ridicule against Republicans, it’s their biggest weapon. But when Republicans take the same playbook and use it against Democrats, they get livid. They are incensed. They go bat-snot crazy, and that’s what’s happening now.
It’s the strangest country
This country sure has the strangest laws and rules. I have family members that came in over the border. They got money. They got information. I became an American citizen years ago, and I had to struggle through it. And then, when they came over illegally, Americans have no right to send them back. What kind of laws do we have here in the United States? It’s the strangest country.
You should be ashamed of yourself
I can’t believe what I’m reading. I open the paper to Talk of the County, and somebody wrote, “How stupid is she?” You must be having a bad day whenever you said that. You know Whoopi Goldberg is not stupid. She just said it wrong. I don’t think she’s prejudiced or racist. You should be ashamed of yourself. You know she’s not stupid. I’m not going to call you what I would love to call you, but you should be ashamed of yourself.
We were much happier before
People on the left need to be quiet, and zip their mouths. Worry about yourself, and worry about your body. We all have our own bodies. We pay our own bills, and you have no input as to how I want to approach an illness. So, people on the right need to start fighting, or fighting a little harder. Why are we not canceling Whoopi Goldberg? Let’s cancel her, and all her movies and all her activities on TV, and on “The View.” But you want to cancel Joe Rogan because he’s promoting something that helped him get through surviving COVID. So, people, be quiet. Zip your mouths. Mind your own business. We were much happier before.
Get rid of these masks
Mr. Pritzker, what is your problem? What are you waiting for? I bet your family isn’t wearing masks. And I bet they’re on vacation. You’re wealthy. You’re one of the elites. Let’s get rid of these masks. I’m done wearing them as of this weekend.
I will not live my life in fear
One of the latest GOP attack ads tells us there were 836 murders in Chicago, and everyone of them was a tragedy in its own right. Chicago has a population of approximately 3 million residents. So you have a three-hundredths of 1% chance of being murdered. There are not swarms of armed men lurking around every corner waiting to attack, as the GOP would want you to believe. I will not live my life in fear. Yet, fear, anger and misinformation are their only tools. I certainly will not support their backward, antebellum agenda for some false and misplaced sense of security.
