Library mask fight childish: I see the residents of St. Charles let their masks slip and showed just how narrow-minded they really are behind closed doors. Threaten those who work at a library because of a foolish notion about something so ignorant as wearing a mask. You don’t want to wear one, stay home and don’t use the library. Grow up for crying out loud.

Burying Biden comment: Why is it that when Joe Biden gets caught slamming somebody, a Fox News reporter or anybody else, and calling them names, it is buried in the back of the paper on the bottom? Look at all the things they’re doing to our former president and his family. In over a year, our inflation has gone up, we can’t even afford to go buy a gallon of gas anymore. Biden is nothing. And his vice president, what is she doing? Nothing.

Who dictates the law? As we all know, politicians are often investigated for illegally using their position inappropriately. Should a politician be asking their followers to have mass demonstrations if an on going investigations turns up prosecutable charges? Does that action mean Trump is above the law or is it that demonstrations should dictate the law?

Offensive commercials: Am I the only person out there bothered by these commercials showing a bent carrot talking about straightening out your manhood or the one with a porcupine talking about pinch it off so it doesn’t hurt like a porcupine, which is all about stool softener? These commercials are running both daytime and nighttime and I find them both disgusting and offensive. What happened to the old days when even showing a woman in a bra was considered risqué.

More winter apologies ahead: That oversized rodent saw his shadow again in Pennsylvania Wednesday on Groundhog Day and unless I’m mistaken, that means six more weeks of apologies from Whoopi Goldberg and Joe Rogan.

Biden choice justified: A lot of conservative commentators are complaining that Joe Biden said he is going to pick an African American female for the next Supreme Court vacancy. Can any of these conservative commenters tell me when a Black female has ever been considered for the Supreme Court? It has been 400 years since Blacks have been in this country and not once has one been considered for a position on the Supreme Court.
