What comes first?

Integrity and honesty, whatever happened to that? We need to put the country first. Our great nation comes first. Here you have Biden lying while he was in his news conference about Republicans. If we win, we’re stealing. We’re doing dishonest things in order to win. But oh my God when he won, no one could oppose the king. If you were caught saying that the Democrats cheated, you lost your job. How is it good for one, and not good for another? Come on, people. What comes first?

Let’s worry about Americans

I want to shout it to the top of my voice, but I know it doesn’t make a difference. I’m hoping that this makes a difference when this country should be worried more about our own people here in this country, our citizens in this country, instead of worrying about Ukraine. You’re an American citizen here. This is your homeland. This is your country. This administration has no business outside of this country. Let the people in that surrounding countries worry about Ukraine. For a change, let’s worry about Americans. Let’s worry about China not coming in and taking all our industry. Let’s worry about South America and having them throwing all their citizens and citizens from Europe into our country. That’s what we need to worry about, people.

You’ve committed a crime

To the contributor who had their unattended and running car stolen at Vista, and then turned it into a commentary about lawlessness: Do you even realize that you’ve committed a crime? Suppose some child got in, put it in gear and ran over and killed someone. You would be criminally and financially liable. I am reminded of the saying, that it is better to stay silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Why isn’t Pritzker doing anything?

With Gov. Pritzker running for reelection, no one’s talking about his poor handling of the unemployment insurance and all the money that seemed to be stolen. I don’t hear anybody recovering the money, or doing anything about it. So pretty much, I believe millions of dollars have been stolen in Illinois unemployment insurance, and why isn’t Gov. Pritzker doing anything?

No school taxes for me

I live in Illinois, and people in Illinois that are 65 or over should not have to pay for schools — grade schools, high schools or junior colleges — on their tax bill.
