Go on watching
I wonder how different what we read and see in the media would be today if Trump were still president. Chaos at the border. Violence in our cities. Felons released early or given minimum sentences, only to commit more crimes and murders. Long lines at COVID testing sites. People can’t get home test kits. Monoclonal antibodies generally unavailable. Prices at the supermarket skyrocketing, and many items in short supply. No press conferences by the president. The botched and precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan. And on and on. Let’s be honest, the media would be screaming about incompetence, poor performance and unsuitability for the office. And they’d be correct. Trump deserved much of the criticism he received, but a lot of it had its basis in the simple fact that he was not a Democrat. So, you Democrats and liberals go on watching CNN, MSNBC, and most of the other major media outlets. They’ll continue to give you the version of reality that you prefer to live in.
You’re arguing with a woman
This is in reply to the entry “Sunny side up”: I’ll have mine scrambled, like his brains are. First of all, I’ve been going back-and-forth with you in this Talk of the County for almost a year now. You’ve got your Bone Spurs. I irritate you because I say “Oh, God bless Trump.” So I’m a bigot. I’m this, I’m that. I want you to finally know, I’m not a man. I’m a 71-year-old woman that you’ve been going back and forth with your nonsense. Actually, you had nothing to say when I wrote in about Biden not doing a press conference for 60 days. I think it’s safe to say, Trump had his first conference within three weeks. And the reason he couldn’t do it before that was because you Democrats were taking up all his time with your Russian collusion, wanting his taxes, etc. I mean, you never let up on the guy. But anyway, I’ll have my eggs scrambled like your brain is. Now don’t forget, you’re arguing with a woman.
Blame someone else
Never in my lifetime have I witnessed an administration refusing to take responsibility for their failures. They blame it on the Republicans. They blame it on everybody else. We’re in an inflation crisis right now. They won’t take responsibility. There’s a shortage of food and products. They won’t take responsibility. Blame someone else. I guess they learned that from Obama.
Mind your business
Today, I heard that there are more unhappy people than ever. But then I thought about it, and I can figure out why. People more than ever are jumping into other people’s business. If you just learn to take care of your own business, and don’t worry about somebody else’s, you’ll be a lot happier. Hopefully, you’ll take that advice.

Selfishness
To “my body my choice” crowd and others: Your body and your choice might kill you, but both before you’ve infected others, including vulnerable elderly, children, people with health conditions and even a few animals. It’s a domino effect affecting the whole world, giving COVID time to mutate over and over because of your selfishness.
These people don’t care
Why can’t we just be Americans. Why are the Democrats and Republicans not thinking of you or me. Did you see the president’s speech on voting? How much more division can he dictate? Really, comparing you and me to Jefferson Davis and George Wallace? Take a read of HR 1. These people, once in office, don’t care. Eliminating ID for voting? Do you want Illegals voting? We even have a sitting congresswoman who cares for America as far as you can throw a rock against a wall.
