Side with their bottom line

This is in response to “Stop abusing powers”: I’m in agreement. It should be up to the business owners to implement vaccine card mandates, just as it is the right of patrons to enter those establishments or not. However, we can’t seem to trust the motives of many businesses. Most are going to side with their bottom line, and not patron or employee safety. Businesses that fight health and safety mandates just don’t care about public health. However, if we are going to leave it to the businesses who do not support vaccines, then the following should be posted on their doors: Are any of your employees unvaccinated putting the public at risk? Do all employees wear multi-layer masks inside and outside of work to protect everyone? That will give myself and others the information on whether we choose the right to enter those establishments. That means we will definitely be patrons of businesses that implement the vaccine card mandate.

Feel bad for all the suckers

I have read a few entries in Talk of the County celebrating the paving of Sheridan Road. I agree that it was a great job. But I am not going to celebrate, hold some ribbon-cutting ceremony and strike up the band. As much money as we pay in gas taxes, sales taxes, higher vehicle registration fees, income taxes and property taxes, all our roads should be like Sheridan Road. Actually, all our roads should be paved in gold and lined with gumdrop trees with all the money we pay in taxes. Gee, thanks for actually fixing a road. Thanks for doing what you are supposed to do. I just feel bad for all the suckers and have to laugh at people that think higher taxes or Biden’s Build America plan will actually fix roads and bridges. Pennies on the dollar will end up trickling down to fixing our infrastructure. All the rest will go to the Democrats favorite donors and pet projects.

Too many issues

To “Whip the Elephant”: Your opinion is not factual, as well as American. You are obviously not a vet, nor do you really understand the issues. But as an American, that’s your right. At least for me, I agree that Trump running again is not the right answer, but with what is happening at our borders, prices and the agenda of so many Democrats who supposedly took an oath to this country, it’s obvious it’s once your in, it’s your way vs. the people. Who in their right mind supports Illegals, criminals coming into our country? Who can support higher prices? The pandemic is a whole other topic. Too many issues. The bottom line is we need someone who believes in America for what we should be doing vs. what we are doing.

Save your money

Midterm elections do not attract many voters. This is an election to slip in many tax increases. A tax increase for Warren High School is to pay for students parking of their personal cars. We are taxed for bus service already. A big tax is for pension plans for teachers and public workers in different departments, cities and the county. Why do we get taxed when these people earn a wage sometimes above $80,000? I’m on Social Security and get $15,000 a year. This tax includes anybody that has a house. Renters, your rent will also increase. Get out and vote to save your money from going to the wage earners.

What about the oath?

The past two years have revealed the astounding level of corruption here in the United States. It is evident in the CDC, the AMA and the medical community that deny patients lifesaving, off-label treatments, instead giving them meds and treatments that shut down organs resulting in death just to get the government COVID reward of $100,000. What about the Hippocratic oath to do no harm? Instead, the oath has become to avoid any treatment protocol that results in a hefty fine. How can we trust that lack of integrity in our doctors?

Biden must be controlled

Travelers all over the United States have had to sleep in airports, and have been notified that their flights are on hold or canceled. Long lines have filled airports. But there has been no shortage of planes leaving the Mexican border in the dark of night and landing in a town near you. Their passengers do not require negative COVID test results or any identification affirmation. They are being fed, clothed and housed with your tax money while inflation is making havoc out of our economy. Biden must be controlled or removed.
